2. Processing in the app

Game progress, statistics, credits, edition, settings and personal high scores are stored locally on your device.

The app requires no Funkenatelier account and does not send local progress to Funkenatelier servers.

When you explicitly share a challenge, only identifiers for the selected questions are passed through a challenge link; the link contains neither names nor scores.

Where technically necessary information is stored on or accessed from your device, this is done pursuant to Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Processing provides the app function you request and is based, depending on use, on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

3. Permissions and device features

The current development version requires no sensitive device permissions. Sharing occurs only through the system share sheet that you open.

4. Apple services and purchases

The planned one-time ad-removal purchase is handled through Apple StoreKit. Game Center can be used voluntarily for leaderboards and achievements. In both cases, Apple processes technical, account and, where applicable, payment or player-profile data under its own privacy policy.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking

The current development version does not contain an advertising SDK and uses no tracking. Advertising is planned for the free public release. Once the advertising network and consent solution have been selected, this policy will be updated before publication with the provider, purposes, legal bases, retention periods, and consent and withdrawal options. Until then, no advertising partner carries out such processing.

6. Support requests

If you contact us by email, we process your message and contact details solely to handle your request. The data is deleted once the request is resolved unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

Subject to statutory requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, objection and complaint to a supervisory authority. Contact datenschutz@funkenatelier.de.

8. Changes and date

We update this policy when the app’s features or data processing change.
